The "mesquerfresquer" 12-Stage Phaser provides all the functionality of the classic moogerfooger unit! It can apply everything from subtle tonal coloration to extremely deep phasing and even ring mod like effects!
Just like the original: the "mesquerfresquer" contains multiple CV/Expression Pedal inputs and outputs. This allows each parameter to be manipulated and controlled simultaneously, while also providing modular interconnectivity between other moogerfooger analog effects.
Pedalboard friendly: the "mesquerfresquer" comes in a light and compact enclosure that is 35% smaller than the original! It maintains top-mounted jacks, and is powered by a standard 9V (center-negative) adapter.
The "mesquerfresquer" 12-Stage Phaser features include:
- DRIVE: Adjusts audio input gain with three-color level LED
- BYPASS: On/Bypass switch with two-color LED indicator
- RESONANCE: Determines the height and sharpness of the peaks in the phaser frequency response
- RATE: Varies the LFO frequency from 0.01Hz - 250Hz with indicator LED
- LO/HI: Selects between the low LFO range (0.01Hz - 2.5Hz) and the high LFO range (1.0Hz - 250Hz)
- AMOUNT: Determines how much the LFO modulates the phaser sweep parameter
- SWEEP: Shifts the phaser frequency response over a six-octave range
- 6/12: Selects between 6-stage and 12-stage phaser modes
- 1/4” CV/EXPRESSION PEDAL INPUTS: Rate, Amount, Resonance and Sweep
- 1/4” CV OUTPUTS: LFO

Jordan got this out to me in time for Christmas. Thank you! I’m having so much fun with the Mesquerfresquer Phaser and have finally found all the classic phaser sounds I have been seeking for years with this unit. It goes way beyond the usual phaser fare, however, with some really beautiful, almost vibraphone-like sounds and some very convincing ring mod sounds to play with too. I’m finding some very useful and original tone-shaping settings also. There’s so many great sounds in the Mesquerfresquer Phaser but it’s relatively easy to dial in the phaser sound I want as standard. The pedal is beautifully built and smaller than the original. I finally found my forever phaser after decades of playing. It’s absolutely brilliant and worth every penny, especially considering the asking price for the original version and free international shipping!
I can't pretend to have experience with the original to compare it to, but I've lusted after one since I was a broke teenager, and now that I'm a grownup with a credit card I get to enjoy this one! Wide range of settings from subtle and chill to scifi noise, as a guitar guy and a synth guy this has become a major player even in the short time I've had it. Covers most if not all classic phaser tones you could want as well as some tones I haven't heard from anything else
I got this pedal yesterday. It only took 4 days from Canada to the Netherlands. The second I activated the pedal I was lost. Such an amazing take on one of the best Phasers out there. It gives you exactly the sound you know and love from its way more expensive and bigger sized brother from another builder. It has all the inputs and features and it looks great on any board.
